Berlin-based Peec AI has secured $21 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate the development of its AI search marketing platform.

Peec AI provides a platform for what it terms Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), a new discipline focused on helping brands monitor and improve their visibility within the results of AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. The company was founded in early 2025 by Marius Meiners, Tobias Siwonia, and Daniel Drabo, who met in Antler's Berlin-based Winter 2024 accelerator cohort.

The Update and Why It Matters

The Update: Berlin-based AI startup Peec AI has raised a US$21 million Series A round, led by European venture capital firm Singular, with participation from Antler, Combination VC, identity.vc, and S20. This follows a €7 million seed round in July 2025, bringing the company’s total funding to US$29 million to date. Since its launch in February 2025, Peec AI has grown rapidly—reporting over US$4 million in annual recurring revenue and serving more than 1,300 brands and agencies globally, including major names such as Axel Springer, Chanel, and ElevenLabs.

As consumer behaviour shifts decisively toward AI-driven discovery, Peec AI’s leadership is positioning the company at the forefront of this transformation. In the company’s own words:

“Companies have to adjust to a world where people are asking ChatGPT and Perplexity which TV to buy or where to go for vacation, while searches on Google are going down. We want to give marketers the tools to win on these new platforms and drive growth for their companies.”
Marius Meiners, Co-founder of Peec AI

With the new capital, Peec AI plans to accelerate its global footprint—starting with the launch of a New York office in Q2 2026—and scale its team by hiring 40 new staff across product, engineering, and customer success over the next six months. Reflecting investor confidence in this trajectory, Singular’s Henri Tilloy, who joins Peec AI’s board as part of the deal, observed:

“AI search is rewriting the rules of discovery, and Peec AI is the team redefining how brands show up in that new landscape.”
Henri Tilloy, Partner at Singular

The new capital is earmarked for international expansion, including opening a New York office in the second quarter of 2026, and hiring 40 new staff over the next six months. "AI search is rewriting the rules of discovery, and Peec AI is the team redefining how brands show up in that new landscape," said Henri Tilloy, Partner at Singular, who joins the board.

Why it Matters: The shift from traditional keyword-based search engines to conversational AI platforms creates a significant visibility gap for businesses. Peec AI's funding highlights investor confidence in the emerging and potentially lucrative market for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). As consumers and B2B buyers increasingly turn to AI for product discovery and information, platforms that can analyse and influence these new channels become critical marketing infrastructure. Peec AI's rapid customer acquisition and revenue growth signal strong market demand for tools that provide clarity and control in a landscape where brand reputation is shaped by opaque algorithms and diverse data sources.
